August 2013

August 3: Hoietfescht and Freyfaxi, Ralph Stover State Park, Pipersville, PA. This is the annual combined Asatru and Urglaawe celebration of the first harvest. More details coming soon.

August 17: First Annual Three Rivers Thing, Settlers Cabin Park, Algonquin Pavilion, Oakdale, PA. Community Day and Flea Market featuring vendors, raffle, pot luck, Kubb tournament, kids' activities, and more. For information on vending or flea market sales, please contact Joanna Spinks at attn: Three Rivers Thing Vending. 

August 21-25: The East Coast Thing!  We are an Asatru community building event, family friendly for anyone interesting in honoring the Aesir and Vanir.  Held from August 21-25 at Camp Netimus in Milford, PA.  Details at  Meal plan and cabins included.  Kids go for free via community funding.  Please contact us at with any questions. 

August 29: Monthly Asatru and Urglaawe Meetup Pubmoot, Hop Angel, Philadelphia, PA, 6:30 PM. Last Thursday of every month alternating between the Newportville Inn and Hop Angel Brauhaus.

August 31: Philadelphia Pagan Pride Day, Clark Park, Philadelphia, 10:00 AM-6:-00 PM. The big event! Philadelphia Pagan Pride Day is a harvest festival that celebrates the diversity -- and the things we have in common  -- among the various Heathen and Pagan groups in Southeastern Pennsylvania.  We will be taking donations for our beneficiaries: Mazzoni Center Food Bank, Forgotten Cats, and The Troth's and Distelfink Sippschaft's In-Reach Heathen Prison Services. Patrons are encouraged to check the list of needed donation items.
